Exercise 42 helps with the use of fifth finger keys in the scale of Bb major for two octaves, after which the scale is written out. The use of an alternative fingering for Bb in the arpeggio is exercised in Exercise 43 after which the arpeggio is written out. Practice Plan 22 incorporates all the material so far covered.
