Fingerings to use in the scale of Db major are illustrated, and Exercise 66 assists with this scale. The Db Rule is reiterated (again!) and the scale and arpeggio of Db major are presented with fingerings indicated. The arpeggio of Db major is converted to an arpeggio of C# minor. This lesson includes a brief essay on the importance of aural awareness in developing an understanding of the two minor modes. Exercise 67 is for C# harmonic minor and Exercise 68 is for C# melodic minor. Each scale is presented after the exercise that applies to it. The full Db/C# sequence is presented in full at the end of the lesson. Practice Plan 36 incorporates all the material so far covered.
