Description

The forms of minor scale are set out with musical examples of their application, and the learning of major/minor sequences of scales and arpeggios is explained. The scale of A major is presented and converted to a scale of A minor. A melodic minor is constructed with an emphasis on developing aural awareness. Exercises 48 and 49 assist with playing the two forms of minor scale and the A sequence is presented in full. Practice Plan 28 incorporates all the material so far covered.
