The all-important fingering for crossing the break in D major is illustrated with an exercise to reinforce this. The scale and arpeggio of D major for a twelfth are presented and there is an exercise to assist with smooth execution of the arpeggio. Practice Plan 11 incorporates all the material so far covered.
